At Omnia Retail, we are building a SaaS application for retailers, eCommerce platforms, and brands allowing them to implement and automate their pricing strategies. With a solid portfolio of customers, we are experiencing an increasing need for product development and expansion.
We are looking for a Backend Developer with a passion for process management, solid technical and problem-solving skills, and that fully understands the importance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. In this position, you will be working on perfecting the software that analyses over half a billion prices and makes millions of price changes per day. You will be responsible for the delivery of quality, resilient software as per Omnia’s technical principles and architecture. Besides, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the Development and Product teams, validating the business and technical requirements.
Experience with software development and solid C#/.NET background
Understanding of software testing
Self-starter that thrives in a team environment
Strong opinions on software development, but loosely held - we do certain things differently here at Omnia
Excited by developing and modernising a large and diverse landscape of applications and dependencies
Excellent knowledge of modern software development and collaboration tools
Experience with CICD pipelines (we use TeamCity and Octopus but experience with others like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc… is also good)
Experience with tools we use such as Dapper, SQL Server, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Flyway, Hangfire, and Kubernetes is a bonus
Demonstrable experience working with non-technical stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
