Demand for Omnia software is rising quickly in Europe, after successful launches with most large retailers in the Netherlands. This rapid scale-up is further enabled by a significant funding round that Omnia Retail closed in August 2017 and in May 2018 Omnia Retail opened its London office. Sander Roose (CEO), Thomas Ruijter (Sales Manager Netherlands) and Kingsly Kaba (Sales Manager UK) are ready to send the sales team across Europe. As our new Sales Manager France you will have an instrumental role in expanding Omnia’s footprint across France - working from Paris!
What are we facing?
As the first sales professional with focus on France you will have a pioneering role. Thanks to the impact of pricing and marketing automation, sell in of Omnia is almost always at board level of medium-sized retailers (10-100MM in annual sales) and often one level below board level at large-sized retailers (100MM+ in annual sales). As a result of the nature of the product, the sales process is very much a consultative selling process.
What it comes down to
Ensure sales targets are set and achieved in line with company objectives
Receive qualified Opportunities from the BDR and convert these to customers
Develop and implement sales initiatives, strategies and programs to win key clients
Manage and support BDRs and other direct reports to ensure key deliverables are achieved
Represent Omnia at relevant networking and industry events as required
Ensure accurate reporting on progress towards KPIs and utilise process-supporting tools like Hubspot + Betterworks to achieve organisational goals
Work closely with Solution Consultants to sell, up- and cross-sell Omnia product Suite
Have a clear view of the market and competitors and be a trustful adviser to our (potential) clients
Be a thought leader and provide input in showcasing Omnia's expertise in thought leadership
The Enterprise Sales Manager France is part of the Go-To-Market Team reporting to our Founder Sander Roose. The team consist of a BDR, Sales Manager NL and UK, Solution Consultants, a Growth Marketer and Customer Success Manager. Within the next few month the Go-To-Market Team will be expanded with an Enterprise Account Manager, SMB Account Manager, Content Strategist, a Visual Designer and consultants of course.
What are we looking for? In this role you will be working from Paris, the perfect place to starting building your customer relationship with our French customers (and potential customers). As a solution minded sales professional with passion for e-commerce, you know like no other how to translate the retailer's strategy into the Omnia SaaS solution and the ability to manage relationships with Omnia clients. You are a team player with a high sense of responsibility, who likes to actively contribute to the growth of Omnia in France. You thrive on success.
Education on a University level
Excellent presentation and listening skills
Able to motivate and move people
Ability to connect business problems to a technical solutions, together with a commercial understanding
Strong knowledge of retail in general and e-commerce in particular
Passion for winning and ability to close a deal
Thorough understanding of SaaS dynamics
French is your native language and you’re fluent in English, both written and oral.
