Working on a greenfield project is fun. Yes it is for sure. But working on an existing platform with hundreds of active clients, complex business logic and heavy data flows - this is when all your skills will be used and all of your brain cells will be solicited! Sounds like something you would love to get your teeth into? Keep reading!

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Software Architect with solid experience within Azure and dotnet environments. Another important aspect is experience with maintaining and improving the environment for a longer period of time. We are looking for someone who will want to commit to continuous improvement in the long run, who is critical and pragmatic when it comes to project planning and who will take teams with him/her on a journey by coaching and mentoring them along the way.

Key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Ownership of the product platform: keeping the existing platform up and running, creating the optimum conditions for development teams to add new features, build new components, improve the legacy codebase etc.
  • Close collaboration with the CTO and ownership of the execution of the technical roadmap (support of 5 development teams)
  • Ownership of technical decisions: management of migrations, upgrades and deployments together with development teams
  • Understand implications (and trade-offs) of reliability, scalability, operational costs, ease of adoption by organization, recruiting, etc.
  • Constantly rise the level of technical knowledge of teams by coaching, mentoring and inspiring them with technical news on architecture principles, coding standards or new available performance tools

  • At least 8 years of experience with dotnet and Azure, at least 3 in an architect role

  • Demonstrable experience working in a technology driven environment and with a complex, data-heavy software product
