About the role

In order to achieve our ambitions, we are expanding one of our Development teams, and looking for a (Senior) Software C# .NET Developer. You’ll be part of an autonomous Agile team which is encouraged and facilitated in identifying and delivering value to customers and to the company. You’ll be directly connected to the impact of your work via frequent feedback, data collection and user interviews.

Tech stack: The team is working with a modern tech stack, which includes ASP.NET Core REST APIs, SQL and PostgreSQL databases, Blazor and Angular UIs, hosted in Linux and Windows VMs or Kubernetes clusters in Azure.

As part of the team, you will be involved in the following initiatives:

• Identifying, validating, and implementing the minimum necessary functionality to engage a new target group with the main digital product;

• Designing and implementing from scratch solutions that help Omnia and the customers to get the best price / value balance;

• Minimizing the time and risk for our customers to migrate to the new version of our main digital product;

• Maintaining and supporting existing software solutions in production, resolving production incidents.

About you

You are a team player, and can easily communicate technical aspects and solutions to non-technical colleagues. You find it important to be connected with the impact your work is making on users and customers. You are open to performing tasks from different knowledge areas such as software development and design, testing, DevOps.

With that you also bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a .NET backend or full-stack developer
• Proficiency in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of basic Azure services and concepts.
• Experience with writing and supporting automated tests (unit and integration).
• Understanding of CICD pipelines, preferably set up with TeamCity and Octopus.
• Experience with frontend frameworks, preferably Angular 2+ or Blazor, is a plus.
• Skills in infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
• Affinity working with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Being a proficient user of source control management systems, such as GitHub or BitBucket, and Jira.
• Good level of English in both written and verbal forms.
