We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our ‘Constellation Team’. Our team is building the core layer that powers our e-commerce platform, responsible for a pricing engine that seamlessly recommends 26M price recommendations based on 230M price points. And that every day. Beyond just number crunching we take care of the underlying infrastructure and ensure that our APIs fulfill all upcoming needs. With the ambition to enhance our capabilities from the ground up - spanning DB, API, to the UI - we need a visionary Full Stack Developer ready to design and develop solutions that span the entire software stack.


Even if you don’t know Omnia Retail you have probably been exposed to the work of our powerful pricing software the last time you bought something online. The team consists of Backend Developers, our day starts with a standup and then we get into building, maintaining and conceptualizing microservices (all hosted in AWS environment). Other tech details? Think: Scala, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Postgres and more!

Key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable features using Angular and Scala.

  • Taking the lead in identifying, analyzing and overcoming obstacles

  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver features and changes in production that fully meet the expectations

  • Effective communication around technical challenges, concerns and delays

  • Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to colleagues and working students

  • Following a test-driven development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a Full Stack developer

  • Reliable knowledge of Angular and Java, Scala, Python or any other object oriented programming language

  • Experience working with a relational database like Postgres, MySQL, or others

  • Software Testing is part of your DNA (demonstrable experience in TDD environment will be considered a big plus!)

  • Self-starter that thrives in a team environment

  • Experience collaborating with both technical and non technical stakeholders about software decisions

  • Excellent knowledge of modern software development and collaboration tools

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
